Coupled with strong supporting characters that are mostly likeable, interesting and relatable it adds a strong sense of responsibility, depth and meaningful choices consistently throughout the series. The game has kept me at the edge of my seat and I was curious and eager to find out what will happen next and I was able to finish it in 1 day (whereas other episodic game would usually take 5 days or more). I also waited for the developer to complete the entire season so that I can enjoy everything at once. To date, TWD series is one of the best narrative experience I have ever had playing video games and I want to recommend this series to everyone regardless if you are a fan of the TV series as they have nothing in common. Finally, I would like to give thanks to Telltale games and Skybound entertainment for making and finishing the final chapter of Clementine's story. your effort was well worth it and may all the employees that have lost their jobs find success in their future endeavours.. They had me emotionally dead in the last episode, even though the gameplay isn't as good as older telltale games and the choices you make don't really affect anything, the story is pretty solid. RIP telltale, if only they just focused on this series and didn't cash out. MInecraft the story mode is truly a plague on society. Series is probably over but they still made it look like they can be more.. I have loved this series since it first began, a roller coaster of emotion all the way. Hell, i broke my Q key trying to get Lee up in the first season. I've always valued a story line above all else in a game and to hear Tell Tale go under and was leaving Clem and AJ's story unfinished, I felt like i was bitten. But with Skybound it saw a rebirth and i just want to show them my appreciation for them and the whole Still Not Bitten Staff for telling a story that needed to be told. Thank you all for what you've done and for surviving all the "monsters" in your way.. Thanks Skybound for saving this masterpiece.. thanks Telltale for all this wonderful games in the last years.. the only game (series) i cried a river!good bye clem!. Much better than season 3, good ending to the series. Sad to see the series be finished, but luckily they were able to finish it.. The Walking Dead: The Final Season is a great conclusion of a franchise that had ups and downs through the road. Before I get started, I just want you to know that this review might include spoilers about the previous seasons so if you haven't played them yet, stop reading now. The Final Season revolves around Clementine and AJ so thankfully, we don't have Javier or any other characters from The New Frontier. You can easily tell that the game tries to bring back the first season feeling, not that it fails but the things they do are just not enough to make it feel like the first season. Gameplay is simple and there is not much to say about it really. It's basically same with TNF plus it has unscripted combat, which is a good thing but again, it doesn't have any puzzles. At least it doesn't feel like an interactive movie this time. Well, it partially does but you get my meaning. Story is where this game shines best. I won't go in full detail but I'll explain it briefly. It's something you've never seen in The Walking Dead universe before. There are no adults, only kids who are trying to survive in an abandoned school. In the beginning, Clem says that AJ had no place to call home before and this school is a perfect opportunity for him to grow up since there are no adults. However, things don't go well for Clem and AJ. From what I've heard, originally story was planned as a road trip and AJ was hardly in it but they had to scrap that idea due to financial issues. I'm pretty happy about how it ended up, though. Currently there is no way to buy this game on Steam. After Telltale's downfall, Skybound decided to move the franchise to Epic Store. If you want to download another launcher just for this game, go ahead and buy it there but if you don't, I'm pretty sure you can find some leftover keys on third party sites.. I don't know where to begin, from the ups and downs of this series to the funny glitches and laughter it gave to me. I grew to love every character especially clem i cried tears of, sadness joy and respect for telltales and skybound. This was my favorite series ever and i cant stop crying knowing this is the end of a long emotional journey. I cant see this Series ever being taken over by another as my all time favorite, honestly my favorite thing ever. I cant thank you enough for finishing this game skybound. 10\/10 will never be the same after this. Thank you \u2665 will always love clementine \u2665. What a great way to end this Series.Thank you.. This review is more on the series as a whole. There's only a hand full of games that really leave an emotional impression on me. The Walking Dead Series is one. I'm so sad to see this series end but so thankful to those who worked to bring it to a close. The story telling is genius really. This series pulled emotions from me like pride and guilt and worry that didn't think I could have over fictional children. I really felt I had some responsibility in Clem and then AJ's character as they matured and I felt pride in that.
